Care Instructions

Your Krobea piece is handmade from carefully selected yarns. Proper care will help it last for years.

Washing

• Hand wash only — Never machine wash crochet or knit pieces. The agitation stretches fibres and distorts the shape.
• Use cool or lukewarm water (30°C or below).
• Use a gentle detergent designed for delicates or wool.
• Do not wring or twist — gently squeeze out water.

Drying

• Lay flat on a clean towel to dry. Do not hang, as the weight of water will stretch the piece.
• Reshape gently while damp.
• Keep away from direct sunlight to prevent colour fading.
• Never tumble dry.

Storage

• Fold, do not hang. Hanging crochet and knit causes the fibres to stretch over time.
• Store in a cool, dry place away from direct light.
• For long-term storage, place a natural moth repellent (cedar block or lavender sachet) nearby.

Ironing

• Do not iron directly on crochet or knit.
• If needed, steam gently from a distance — never touch the iron directly to the fabric.

Pilling

Some pilling is natural for handmade knitwear. Remove pills gently with a fabric shaver or a fine-tooth comb.
